Our most advanced students will meet monthly to work on olympiad-level problems and other advanced math topics. The Colorado Math Circle Euler Group is led by Sam Elder of Poudre High School, a former MOSP (Mathematical Olympiad Summer Program) participant and three-time USAMO (USA Mathematical Olympiad) qualifier. Meetings will emphasize the importance of clear mathematical writing. Participants will be expected to write up solutions for problems ranging from easy to difficult. See the Euler Group meeting schedule.
Recommended ability level: AIME qualifier and experience with mathematical proofs. (See sample USAMO problems and solutions.)
Note: Euler is pronounced “oiler”.
